02Give way to worshippers and processions
03Speak softly; silence your phone

Please don't
01Step over or on offerings (canang sari)

WORSHIP AREA ACCESS
Inner courts are for prayer

A local guide from the Besakih community walks with every visitor and shows where you may go. Some courts are reserved for worship.

VISITING DURING CEREMONIES
Watch from the edges

On ceremony days routes may change and some courts close. Following Balinese Hindu custom, visitors who are menstruating may not enter the inner temple areas.
